I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with 30 years of clinical experience.  I am the owner of Charlotte Center for Balanced Living where I maintain a private practice in the historic Southend area of Charlotte. I pride my practice on delivering exceptional personalized care in a confidential, supportive, and safe environment. 

I have extensive experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. My treatment philosophy is empathically informed and draws from a broad range of theoretical orientations.  I  incorporate  a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques  to incorporate that will be most helpful to each client. My style is active, practical, and solution focused with a vision towards personal permanent development. 

My areas of expertise are adjustment issues, anxiety,mood disorders, depression, relational issues, grief,and women’s issues. I have specialized expertise in treating eating disorders, and trauma.  I am committed to providing a respectful, protected, and empowering environment  in which clients can successfully work to regain control of their lives. I was educated at Tulane University.

About the office

Charlotte Center for Balanced Living

My office is located in the historic Southend neighborhood on Southend Dr. in the Village of Southend located between Magnolia Ave. and McDonald Ave.  

My office is located in a 4 story office building with 2125 over the double glass entry doors. Parking is available in front of the building. Please do not park in the attached parking deck as you will not be able to gain entry into the building from the deck. 

There is a key pad located to the left of the glass doors where an access code will allow entry. You will be given the code at the time you schedule an appointment. Take the elevator to the 4th floor, proceed left down the hallway to suite 452. The signage on the door  will say Charlotte Center for Balanced Living.
